Information You Provide
- Email address — provided when you request a report or create an account
- Ticker symbols — the stocks you request reports for
- Payment information — subscription billing is processed securely by Stripe. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never store your full card number
- Subscription data — your plan tier, billing period dates, credit balance, and subscription status
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent on the Service
- Device information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution
- IP address — used for analytics, security, and general location
- Cookies and similar technologies — for functionality and analytics
2. How We Use Your Information

- To generate and deliver equity research reports to you

We do not sell your individual email address to third-party spammers. However, by using the Service, you acknowledge that we may use your data for legitimate business purposes, including marketing communications from Basis Report and its partners.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specific retention periods:
- Account and email data — retained for the life of your account
- Generated reports — stored indefinitely to support the 2-year subscriber refresh benefit and your report history
- Subscription and billing records — retained for 7 years following account closure for tax and legal compliance
- Credit ledger — retained for the life of the account plus 7 years
- Usage and analytics data — retained for up to 2 years in identifiable form; indefinitely in aggregated form
You may request deletion of your account data by contacting privacy@basisreport.com. Billing records required for legal compliance may be retained even after deletion.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and business requirements)
